Tundra Process Solutions would like to thank everyone for their continued support to make our 11th annual Stampede BBQ a great success!

On Thursday, July 14th, Tundra Process Solutions hosted our 11th annual stampede BBQ with over 800 guests in attendance. Our best turn out so far!! Our guests were treated to great food, great company and of course our famous Tundra dunk Tank! This year we raised over $4000 in support of Roan, a brave little guy that lost his leg in an accident earlier last year. Below is a note from Roan and his family thanking all of you for your support!

We are very pleased and proud to report that our Champ, Roan Heck (2 years old), is doing well and is now walking with a prosthetic leg! He is still in the process of rehabilitation at the Alberta Children’s Hospital in Calgary and continues to surprise us with his advancements daily. Roan appears to not give himself any limitations and his positive attitude is contagious.

Roan now enjoys jumping on the trampoline, riding his horse, “chasing cows” and skating with his older siblings, Cole and Gabby! We are currently working on getting Roan a Swimming Leg for him to join us at the Beach and in the lake!

Thanks for helping us get the Champ back up on his “feet” again. He has the attitude of a true Champion already and we see only a bright future for Roan!

Tundra Process Solutions Ltd. is Now Western Canada’s Exclusive Tracerco Distributor
Calgary, Alberta – Tundra Process Solutions is pleased to introduce Tracerco into their family of Instrumentation products which further complements our total plant solutions. Tundra will be exclusively offering Tracerco products to all of Western Canada.

Tracerco has been providing and developing solutions for the Canadian Oil Sands for decades. Specifically, having reengineered their award winning TRACERCO Profiler™ for applications in thermal recovery and heavy oil. Tracerco is now able to give real time measurement of all the phases (sand, water, emulsion, foam, gas phase etc) up to 150 measurement points, in any of the separation processes in these industries. When radar will not work because of foam, or were capacitance will not work due to build up, Tracerco has the solution.

Additional Tracerco process diagnostic services include tower gamma scanning, pipe blockage detection, exchanger leak testing, flow rate measurement, and distribution studies.

Cleaver-Brooks has closed an agreement to acquire Cheminée Lining.e, a stack manufacturer based in Terrebonne, Quebec. Adding Cheminée’s products to Cleaver-Brooks’ line further enhances our offering of a complete, functional boiler room with best-in-class efficiency and emission control.

Cleaver-Brooks historically has not focused on the exhaust gas side of the boiler room. We have allowed these products to be supplied by others in the marketplace. With continuous changes in regulations as related to building codes and emissions, the exhaust gas side of the boiler system is becoming increasingly more complex and important to the overall integrity and performance of the boiler system.

For 20 years, Cheminée has enjoyed steady growth, concentrating its efforts primarily in Quebec and the Maritimes. The company offers Cleaver-Brooks a complete line of exhaust gas products (breeching and stacks) for our broad range of boilers. Cheminée manufactures a standard line of stainless steel and AL294C pre-fabricated, insulated breeching and stack system from 6” to 48”. These products fit our full line of condensing boilers, package hot water and steam boilers and allow for complex arrangements of multiple boiler applications.

In addition, Cheminée offers engineering and fabrication of free-standing stacks and breeching systems for large applications. This product line will complement Cleaver-Brooks Engineered Boiler Systems offerings.

One of Cheminée’s goals has been to increase sales of its products throughout North America.  Our CBRA representative network offers the company a ready-to-market distribution channel to incorporate and sell products manufactured by Cheminée. The simple strategy will be to sell Cleaver-Brooks stacks on Cleaver-Brooks boilers.

Our integration of Cheminée into Cleaver-Brooks operations will begin immediately.  As we did with the NATCOM acquisition in 2001, we plan to maintain Cheminée’s current management team and personnel.

In order to expand our operation and leverage our combined strengths, Cleaver-Brooks will merge NATCOM’s operation into Cheminée’s facility in Terrebonne, Quebec over the next six to nine months. The resulting entity will operate as Cleaver-Brooks and house sales, engineering and manufacturing operations of both NATCOM and Cheminée.

We are excited about the acquisition of Cheminée as it further solidifies the Cleaver-Brooks position as a complete boiler room solutions provider that helps businesses run better every day.
