    We have an opening for a Senior Project Manager to work with our Clients in the Energy Sector.  The successful candidate will be a  seasoned professional who reflects our corporate commitment to being responsive and sensitive to our Clients unique needs.  They have a track record of hard work that spotlights their character.  An ability to share their personal vision with a focus on teamwork and attitude of getting the job done right the first time.  Our ideal candidate shows open and honest communication, able to give input on how to improve the current processes to the benefit Tundra Process Solutions and the Client.  They have shown their ability to produce the desired results on multi-million dollar projects involving numerous sub-vendors and stakeholders.

    Skills:

    • Identifies, documents and communicates client requirements in an effective and clear manner.
    • Effectively manages multiple stakeholders and maintains and develops healthy client relationships throughout the project and post-completion review.
    • Ensures accurate and timely progress reporting to the client and internally to Tundra management. 
    • Ongoing monitoring of the communication network between project staff, the client and third parties and introduction of changes where required
    • Procurement/Subcontracts Management – Sets clear objectives for procurement and subcontracts team and follows up on expectations.
    • Assesses procurement process through the project to ensure goods meet specifications and are delivered on time and within budget.
    • Thorough understanding of electrical & instrumentation design, and able to read and understand a P&ID.
    • Structured approach to problem solving and able to work under tight deadlines
    • Time management shows an ability to complete and document tasks while incorporating flexibility to work with the changing Client requirements.
    • Ability to build relationships with Clients and Vendors.  Able to communicate across multiple disciplines

    Qualifications:


    • Minimum 15+ years experience in oil and gas project management - Pipeline, Electrical and SAGD experience would be an asset
    • B.Sc. in Engineering or Technical Designation from a recognized Post Secondary Institution.
    • Good oral and written communication skills in English.
    • Experience with EPCM or operating company in Canada.
    • PMP Certificate is an asset
    • Proficient with MS Office and project management software including Microsoft Project or similar software.
