Originally founded as Tundra Controls Ltd., Tundra Process Solutions Ltd. has been an instrumentation and control specialist since 1999. Tundra has grown into a full solution provider representing best-in-class manufacturers that specialize in water, boiler, pipe, artificial lift, motors & drives, instrumentation, automation & valve solutions, and service industries such as oil & gas, mining, pulp & paper, power producers and many more. In addition to their manufacturing partners, Tundra is able to provide in-house custom engineered solutions.

History

Established in 1999, Tundra first opened its doors as Tundra Controls Ltd., specializing in instrumentation.  Over the years Tundra Controls diversified into much more than just an instrumentation company. In February 2007, Tundra Controls changed its name to Tundra Boiler & Instrumentation Ltd. after acquiring Canadian Boiler Industries, the Alberta supplier of Cleaver Brooks commercial boilers and Nebraska industrial water tube boilers.  In addition to boilers, Tundra has also formed strategic partnerships with many other world class suppliers such as Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies, Toshiba Power Products, and most recently ABB Measurement products. As of May 2011, Tundra is pleased to announce that they have changed their name to Tundra Process Solutions Ltd. to reflect their diversified business.  Today Tundra has over 100 staff with offices in Calgary, Edmonton, Fort McMurray, Grande Prairie, Lloydminster, Saskatoon, Swift Current and Red Deer.

Tundra prides itself on hiring sales people who have a technical background, and are able to understand your complex technical needs.  In addition to their knowledgeable sales staff, you have access to hundreds of dedicated engineers at their manufacturing partners who can assist with detailed design and troubleshooting.

Service Team

Certified factory trained technicians offer start-up & commissioning, preventative maintenace, troubleshooting and repair service. Tundra technicians are available 24/7 throughout Western Canada. Service technicians have all necessary safety certifications including H2S Alive, Transportation of Dangerous Goods, WHMIS, Lockout / Tag-out, Industrial Fall Protection, First Aid, Petroleum Safety Training with CSTS, Confined Space. Tundra holds a COR certification.

Tundra has aligned itself with world-class manufacturing partners who have leading technology and continually invest in R&D.  Tundra's screening criteria is extremely strict when bringing on new partners, and they are very proud of the partners who they have chosen to represent in their marketplace.  Tundra's core products include water, boiler, pipe, artificial lift, motors & drives, instrumentation, automation & valve solutions, and service industries. Tundra also has customized in-house engineered solutions including CSA approved panels and chemical injection skids. In addition to their manufacturing partners, Tundra is able to provide in-house custom engineered solutions.
